By accessing or using HiveForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
Description of Service
HiveForge is a production-ready SaaS template and development platform that provides:
- Application hosting and deployment services
- Authentication and user management
- Database services and data storage
- Payment processing and subscription management
- API access and development tools
- Multi-tenant architecture support
- AI integration capabilities
User Accounts
Account Creation
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
Account Security
You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account.
Acceptable Use
Permitted Uses
You may use our Service for lawful business purposes, including building and deploying web applications, managing user authentication, processing payments, and integrating with third-party services.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for competitive analysis or benchmarking
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
Subscription and Billing
Subscription Plans
We offer various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected during signup.
Payment Terms
Payment is processed through Stripe. All fees are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees. Failed payments may result in service suspension.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. Refunds for annual subscriptions will be prorated for unused months. Contact support@hiveforge.dev for refund requests.
Intellectual Property
Our Rights
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality remain the exclusive property of HiveForge. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Your Rights
You retain ownership of any content, data, or applications you create using our Service. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service.
Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
You are responsible for backing up your data. While we implement backup procedures, we recommend maintaining your own backups of critical data.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability and aim for 99.9% uptime. However, the Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We will provide notice of planned maintenance when possible.
Service level agreements (SLAs) are available for enterprise customers. Check our Status Page for current service status.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiveForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HiveForge harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Termination will be effective at the end of your current billing period.
By Us
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or engage in prohibited activities. We will provide notice when possible.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
